Some says that writing is tough task to do? While others say writing is easy game to play, if we get proper guidance.

Those who say writing is tough task to do are wrong (According to me). Writing is easiest thing which a kid can do it, or in real kids are doing it. I know some kid writers, who are good at writing and write better words then me.

So those who says, that writing is tough are those who don’t have a real passion for writing. Writing is like a game, which sometime gets a little bit difficult to play, and sometime it gets easier. When your game gets little bit difficult, your coach jumps in and shares some effective ideas, tips to make things easier again. Same goes for writing, when writing gets difficult, there are lots of tips out there in writing arena, which you can use freely to make your writing easier again.

So never every think that you can’t write effectively. If you know how to hold a pencil to write, and have some passion for writing, then you can write much better content then you think. All you need is some tips that help you to write in more effective manner, and today I’m sharing some tips with you, that will help you to improve your writing. But never ever lose your passion for writing.

One line that I would like to tell you about, passion for writing:

“Be still when you have nothing to write; when genuine passion moves you, write what you’ve got to write, and write it hot. ”

Be Clear

You’ve heard this one a million times. The more clearly you write the more readers you will get.

Clearly written words reflect reader’s interest, while complex and unclearly written words are just going to confuse them.

Writing clearly is only way to get more readers, if you can’t write clearly, then you’ve lost your readers. Write your content in simplest and clear manner, so that you don’t have to waste your words in explaining what you’ve just written.

So be clear.

Be Specific

Specifically written words make reading more enjoyable and understandable. The more specific you write, the more readers will enjoy reading your words, and very easily they will get converted into your subscribers, customers, fans and keep coming back for more doses. Or even you will get bunch of social media shares. If you want to see what I’m talking about then, please

Read this 2 sentence:

1- I’ve lots of interesting books in my bookshelf.

2- I’ve 69 interesting books in my bookshelf, including 31 days of better blogging, Google+ for dummies, Guest blogging guide and how to succeed as writer.

Frankly, say which one is more interesting, and will make you to see my bookshelf.

Stick With 2S (Simple & Short)

Don’t try to sound smart by using big and complex words, when small and simple words will work well. You readers will hate you, if you just keep using complex words. When small and easy to understand words works like charm and also sounds good, then why you run for complex and long words, which doesn’t make sense.

Your readers will not have dictionary in their hand, while reading your words, so it’s better to avoid uses of long and complex words. I personally hate writers, who use words like “currently” instead of “now”, “utilize” instead of “use”.

Not only length of your words counts, your line and paragraphs length also.

The longer lines you write, the lesser your readers will show their interest in reading it. And also longer lines and paragraphs are harder to read and understand. So go for short.

Take Care Of Commas & Periods

Just pay a little bit attention to use of commas and periods, because these 2 marks maintain the exact flow of your thoughts.

If you don’t use these 2 marks clearly, then they can make your words confusing, even if you wrote all those words clearly. So just play very carefully with these 2 marks, because they hold the power of make or break your words.

Don’t Repeat Yourself

People don’t like to read same thing again and again, so make sure you also avoid writing same words again and again, because if you don’t, then your readers will lose their interest from reading your blog.

And I’m sure you don’t want to lose your readers. So then stop repeating yourself, say something once and forget about it.

Have Some Rest

Once you completed your writing, then keep it aside and forget about it for some time. Have some rest, enjoy yourself, make your mind fresh and then come back to your writing.

Read it one more time, Scan it, edit it to make more perfect. A small rest will help you to make your words more perfect and astonishing. So have some rest writers.

Write Everyday

Writing is like a skill. The more you practice it, the better you gets in it.

Every good writer reads and writes every day, to make their words more perfect. So you also follow their footprint to make your writing more perfect.

3 years back, when I used to play and learn piano.

One incident happened with me that made me realize I have no interest in becoming famous for notes, and musical scores. I wanted to be famous for my written words, books and novels. I wanted to be a writer rather than a lazy pianist.

You may wonder, “What happened 3 years ago? How I got started with blogging and ended up to GeekyWriter?

Here’s the story that made me realize I’m a writer and there are people who likes to read my written words.

One day I was sitting at my piano, practicing some new notes which I had learned from my best friend. It was nothing special, just some Mozart and little Beethoven. I was not really very good at making combination of black and white keys. I was just trying to be child prodigy, because most of my family thought me to be extra ordinary and I was just trying to do that. My family so badly wanted me to learn piano and be a pianist, to be up on a stage performing in front of million peoples. But it’s not what I wanted.

I wanted to be a writer. Famous for my written stories, books rather than music. I thought I was a pretty decent writer. And I don’t have enough courage to get second opinions. But people like to hear me play rather than reading my stories. And that makes me fear.

I usually write short, but full of details. I always try to touch people’s heart and inspire them to achieve what they wanted to achieve in their life with my writings. I was proud of my writings, but somewhere deep inside I scared. Scared of ignorance, people will ignore my writing talent because they are very concerned with seeing me as a pianist.

I got enrolled in my college band. My family was very happy to see me as a part of college band, but I was not very happy. Because that’s not what I wanted to be, that’s not my real identity. After being a part of college band I got 2 or 3 chances to perform in front of small crowd. And I did it, but without having smile on my face and satisfaction in my heart.

The only time I feel satisfied, happy, is the time when I’m in my writing class. I never failed doing any assignment there. I was an A+ student there, because I always the first one to arrive and last one to leave. We didn’t do many things there, just few important writing tasks and that’s it. We usually get an assignment, once in a week. I would get mine done in one or 2 days, because that’s the only thing I like to do and brings a smile on my face.

The teacher of writing class was not usually get impressed by my writing. I suppose fabulous and good sounding words are not as good as beautiful melodies. And that day I learned something, “Using big words and cool sounding words are not going to make your writing prominent and easy to understand. When small words can convey your massage very easily then why go for big words.”

I was only able to shock my writing teacher once. When she was a substitute and hadn’t heard about me, like most substitutes did. I finished my writing long before the class was half over, and my substitute teacher was able to read it and grade it within 20 minutes. She was surprised because there were no spelling errors, and grammatical errors. She asked me, “I used dictionary or thesaurus to complete writing task.” I replied no.

She beamed at me and said that she liked my work very much. I shied and said thank you before starting my march towards my sit. Then she stood up and did the unimaginable and unthinkable. “Listen everybody, I’m going to read the work of a class mate. I won’t mention the name but I’m proud of him.”

I guess that it’s me because I’m the only one who completed the task and got appreciated. Deep inside me I was feeling a weird kind of happiness because it’s the first time when someone is going to read my words in front of few people.

As she read, I looked up at her, hearing my words coming out from her mouth. She let my words flow off her tongue, giving them feelings, emotions I wanted them to have. She finished and class clapped. And then she beam down at me, making it obvious that it was my paper.

“Congratulation on a magnificent work.” I smiled at her.

That day, I had actually felt proud of my writing. Someone liked what I wrote not what I played and for that I was very happy. It made me feel like more than just a pianist. Actually I felt like a writer. Someone who can write, who can publish books, who can make others people life happy and better by sharing his own. I realize that if I move on then people will like to read me.

And I finally felt like a writer. I finally felt like myself. I finally got happiness and satisfaction from my work. I finally got myself.

So, I decided to make piano as my hobby and writing as my passion, my life. And I got started with writing.

A single appreciation of my substitute teacher made me realize that who am I? What I like? What’s my true identity?

“Sometime we need a small clue to find what we actually like, what makes us happy.”

How You can?

Everybody says that there are 2 most important days in our life – the day we were born, and the day we realize why we were born, what we came here to do?

Finding your passion, and allowing it to lead you to the purpose, then just doing what you were put here to do.

Passion engages people, passion connects people, and passion makes life easier and enjoying. Passion is what that brings changes. As long as you got passion you can do anything, you can achieve anything if you put your mind and heart to it. You can exceed greatest achievements in the world if you follow your passion.

But the question is, “How to find passion?”

Just look down inside you and you’ll find your passion. You’ll find what you like to do.

The thing which bring smile on your face, which doesn’t bore you, which gets you out of the bed early, you get appreciated for, and you feel satisfaction, is the thing you came here to do. It’s your passion.

What drives you crazy, makes you complete is your passion.

My Final Words

“Your Dream Job Does Not Exist. You Must Create It.”

Don’t ask people what you can do, ask yourself what makes you come alive, what brings you smile. And then go and do that. Because what world needs is what you can create.

If you are good artist then world needs some awesome paintings from you. If you are a writer then world needs some thrilling and entertaining stories from you. Just go do what you love to do not what people say you to do.

“Do it With Passion Or Not At all.”

How you found yourself? How you found what drives you crazy?

“If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I will say, I came to live my life fully alive.”

There are plenty of people in this world who know how to live a sucking life. But many few know how to live life fully alive, how to live with fun, how to enjoy every moment that life has to offer.

We are here to live our life the way we want to live, not the way my stupid boss, colleagues want me to live. It’s my life and I’m the author I can write it the way I want, the way I feel. I can make it most amazing or sucking.

It’s my life and I’m going to play fair. I know time is flowing. I know I can die today or tomorrow. But whenever I will die I want to know the answer of this question,

Did I live my life fully alive?

I don’t want to die without doing what I always wanted to do; I don’t want to die without doing something remarkable. I want to make my life get counted.

But time is passing.

How did you spend this day? Were you happy, helpful, angry, upset? Do you feel that it was a creative and productive day or you wasted it just like other days? While we can save almost everything, food, water, tree, humans, animals even our girlfriends, but time is something that we can’t save. Once it’s gone then it’s gone for forever.

So, let’s use time to its fullest and best.

Our life is most valuable gift, a gift to be opened, used, and cherished. The way to do it is to value each moment we have, and to live our life in such a way that when we look back someday, we don’t have anything to complain, we feel satisfied. We feel we’ve achieved what we wanted and now we can rest.

But we are not living our life the way we want.

Why?

We die with our wishes, dreams, and ideas.

Why?

We were all created to live an adventure. We all have same time, same days then why only few makes their day remarkable while we just give rest to our Fat A** in the office.

Because you’re not living your life to its fullest, you are not living it the way you desire, you are killing yourself to please others, you are wasting your time in doing things that you don’t want to do. You only work for your boss not for your ideas, dreams, and passion.

Remember: it’s your life. You are the creator of your life, you can create it the way you want all you need to do is get started.

So, why do most of us feel empty, never achieved anything, depressed, unsuccessful, and wanting more.

Time Never Returns

As we grow, as we improve, we realize that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You’ll have your heart broken and you’ll broke others hearts. You’ll fight with your loved ones or maybe you’ll start hating them, and you’ll cry because time is flying by. So enjoy the moments, laugh as much as you can, forgive freely and easily, and love people like you’ve never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no second chance, no time outs, and no reverse button.

You just have to live life to the fullest, do what you always wanted to do, tell someone what they mean to you, speak out what you are hiding, get wet in the rain, spend time with family, help people, fall asleep by watching moon, enjoy every day the way you want, and smile until your face hurts. Don’t be afraid to take risks, chances, live in the moment because every second you spend angry, irritated or sad is a second of happiness you can never get back.

Don’t waste your time in staying sad, you know how to make that curve line on your face and how to retain it. Enjoy every second you have, use every second you get.

Everything Happen for a Reason

Everything that comes to us is for our good. Nothing comes by mistake. There always a reason, a purpose. Even bad things that come to us are going to get transformed into good things later. And our biggest problem turns out to be our greatest lesson. Our tears will turn out to be our best memories, moments of our lives.

Everything happens for a reason. Love, illness, sadness, success, failure, everything, there’s a reason- they not happens by chance or by luck. Without small tests, speed-brakes life would be smooth, flat road to nowhere safe and comfort but boring and utterly pointless.

So, try to move with situation, handle situation but never get settle with them. Just keep moving and believing that god is testing you. God is with you.

You Can Do Whatever You Want

You’re young enough to make your own decision, to do your own things. And you are scared.

Why are you scared?

Stop being paralyzed. Stop swallowing your words. Stop caring what other idiots think. Wear what you like to wear, what you want to wear, eat what you want to eat. Say what you want to say. Forget about haters. Listen to song you want to listen. And play it as high as you want. Want to drive at midnight then go on you are young enough; forget that you’ve college next day. Stop waiting for Sundays to enjoy. Live it now, enjoy now. Everyday can be Sunday if you want.

Take risks. Do amazing things. Tell your secrets. Help people. Work on plans. Be awesome. Be fearless. Do whatever you wish to do. This is your life.

When you going to realize it that you don’t need permissions to live it – it’s your life you can do whatever you want, you can live your life on your own way.

That Thing, Just Let Go

We all have something that holding us back, holding us to do what we wanted to do, holding us to say what we wanted to say. Stopping us from living the life we wanted to live. We all know what exactly it is, and exactly how to get over it. Yet, we compromise with that thing, we live with that thing, we never act. We just sit there like a statue. Telling ourselves lies, we are okay with that thing; we will manage to survive with that thing. But we forget we are not here to survive, we are here live.

Because of that thing, we never realize exactly what we are capable of accomplishing (I’m sure it’s something great). Afraid to let go that thing, afraid to face that thing. I know exactly what my thing is. Its fear of failure, death, letting someone down, dreams, and ideas. Fear of everything that I wanted to do. I’m letting go of my thing. I’m going to take risks. I’m going to live my life. Life that I deserve, life for that I’m here.

So, I challenge you to let go of your thing.

YOLO: Leave Your Comfort Zone And Live Life

Oh! Stepping out from our comfort zone – hard thing to do. But once you manage to do it, you able to live your life the way you want, you able to do what you always wanted to do and above of all you’ll feel great.

Steeping out from comfort zone basically means doing something that normally you wouldn’t do, doing something that you fear to do, doing something that makes you feel uncomfortable. Personally, I always stayed in my comfort zone. I wouldn’t try to do anything; I wouldn’t take a chance on anything. I’ve recently realized that I’m not living my life. What’s the point of dreaming, if I’m not going to do anything about it? I would be stuck with doing things that I can easily do, instead of taking advantages of opportunities. I would die one day without doing anything that I can be proud of. I would die with unchecked list of things that I always wanted to do. I would die with regret. And I don’t want that. No one does.

Don’t you have those times where you feel like doing something remarkable, but cold breeze of fear makes you pass on it? The fear of failure. The fear of being laughed at. The fear will decide your decision that it’s just not worth the effort. However, at the end of the day, it’s your life. Not theirs. We should realize people are people. They will have opinions on things, they hear, they see. Some may have bad opinions, some may have good. We just have to learn how to stay focused on good and blur out the bad. Just remember good and bad opinions are like day and night. They always come in pair. But it depends on you which one you choose.

I’m trying to say that it’s our life. It’s our choice whether we want to live safe or adventures. You alone have the power to mold your life the way you want. So, why not step out from comfort and live life? Take small step towards your life and feel satisfaction. Feel the joy of life. Feel the pleasure of being alive. Because you know you only live once (YOLO).

Fear Of Death

Live your life that the fear of death can never reach to your heart. Respect other religions, respect people and ask them to respect you. Love your life. Mold your life. Find purpose of your life and work for that purpose. Prepare a wonderful death poem for the last day of your life.

Always care about peoples who matters to you. Help stranger. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.

When you get up in the morning pray to god to make your day wonderful and life even more wonderful. Thanks people for their small effort. If you see no reason to give thanks, the fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one for their deeds, treat everybody equally.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with guilt and fear of death, so when their time comes they weep and pray for more time to live their life in different way. Say your poem and die like a hero who achieved what he desires.

Live Life The Way You Want

A lot of people I know in my life don’t feel like they have power over who they are. They just accept things that can easily be changed with their efforts and will power. Sometime these things get attached with us, without realizing that we don’t even like it. It just become normal, we get settled with those things. And start to live with those things.

But that’s not your life. That’s not what you want. I know it’s hard to change; it’s hard to lift your head up and say I don’t want to do this anymore; I don’t want to be like this anymore. And once you raise your head up the gate of whole new world you never knew it existed gets unlocked and your life doesn’t feel pointless anymore. You don’t feel trapped between life and death.

It’s your life you have the power to do what you want to do and be whoever you want to be. So stop living like statue and thinking that it’ll happen one day. Just get up and make it happen one day. Make that one day today.

My Final Words

Life don’t go through your way, you will go through Bad times, angry times, weird times, sad times, happy times, exhausted time, hard times, frustrated times. Who cares? It’s your life, live it the way you want. Live it they way you like. Spend the way you want. It’s your property and you are responsible for your life.

“We all are same, it just our life that makes us different.”

Are you living your life fully alive?

Yesterday night, I had a dinner with my family in a nearer restaurant, where my eyes caught a very rude waiter.

This waiter is not least interested in his job, and has no true dedication for his work. It’s like he don’t love his work, and work without love is useless and meaningless. Nonetheless, by his rude behavior he taught me something very important about doing effective guest blogging.

The waiter was very rude and talking with customers in very angry tone, like I heard you first time, you don’t have to repeat. I never saw a small smile on his face till then I was in restaurant, the thing that I only saw is anger and his hate for his work. I also heard him complaining to other waiters that, “why the hell I do this and that?”

The waiter made never forgettable mark in my head; I will never ever forget this Rude Dinner.

Nobody likes to be around people who are rude, who hate their work. If we really want to get something good from our work, then we have to love what we do, if not there is a taxi waiting for you.

See it’s very simple: To get good result from your work, just love your work.

We can learn many things from these types of people. You’ve also encountered these types of people at some point of your life like: cashier, accounted, shopkeeper, Operator etc… We all encountered these people in our life, which makes their work harder and worst by hating them.

And Guest blogging is very important work for every blogger, if he want to make his blog buzzatic and popular.

So here are my lessons that I learned from the rude waiter.

Make Your Work Matter

We all do some work, but why only few people’s work stands out? Because they make their work matter for everybody.

A good painter makes his painting matter for painting lovers; a writer makes his books matters for their readers.

So if you also want to do work that matters, then make your work matter for you.

Don’t follow the rude waiter way if you really want to make your work matter.

- Don’t hate your work

- Accept Your Work, No Matter what it is

- Enjoy Your work

If you do this then you will feel surprising, people will pay attention to you and appreciate you for your work. And for our guest post we want these things right we want attention, we want appreciations and surprises.

So the best way to get it is by making out guest post matters for the admin.

“It’s easy to write something, but it’s not easy to write something meaningful. That tells the exact story that we want to present.”

We can write our thoughts, but writing our thoughts is not the best way to make our post matters. The best way to make it matter is by molding our thoughts to its best. So that our story gets catchy and attractive.

Don’t Hate Your Work

I don’t know why people hate their work? After they get some rejections and complaints.

I don’t know what makes them feels so bad about their work, if no one is cares about their work.

There is nothing in rejections and complaints. You shouldn’t hate your work because of that. Those are just part of our work life; we all get them at some point of our work life.

Rejections and complaints are the best wheels of our work life, which makes our work life, run smoothly.

Just imagine if there is no one who tells painter that your painting is worst, and then he is not able to create a master art.

Imagine if there’s no one who can complain writers that how bad your copies are, and then today we don’t have lots of great stories between us.

Rejections and complains are best parts of our life, because of them you become better. So don’t hate them, learn from them why you got them.

And you will be on new heights.

The waiter also got lots of complaints and rejections about his work that created guilt for his work in deep inside of his heart. And he started to hate his work.

So in guest blogging we also get lots of rejections and complaints that don’t mean that you start hating guest blogging, which means that there is something wrong in your guest post that needs to be correct to get more effective work title.

Remember one thing “Those who loves their work are those who succeed.”

So stop hating your work and start loving it.

Great Works Gives Great Rewards

People often forget this “Good works has good results.”

If you do the good work then the result that you will get from your work will also be good, if not then not.

My grandmother told me a story about good work in which good work has good results. The story is somewhat like this

“If you put your life in danger to save others lives, then you will get two lives for you.”

Do you know why two lives? Because you did good work.

Same for waiter. If waiter does good works they get tips from customers, rewards from their boss and lots of other benefits. Right.

So if you also do your guest blogging in a good manner then you will also able to get good results.

Don’t Pass Your Anger To Your Work

Do you know what makes your work good?

It’s your mood.

If you work in good mood then your end result will also be a good, if in bad then everything is bad.

The waiter always stays angry that we can see in his work. He puts plates in a manner that they make very weird sound, he replies harshly to every customer, which is bad. His work clearly reflects his anger.

Don’t get your mood take over on your work, because they are the main villain behind your productive and meaningful work.

Same for guest bloggers. Don’t reflect your mood in your guest post, because sometime they can ruin your guest post efforts.

So don’t show your mood in your work. Don’t get your angers takeover on your written words.

“The time you spend on anger, is the time you cut from your happiness.”

My Finale Work

People who love their work are those people who produce good meaningful work. And a person who hates their works always remains where they want to be just like our rude waiter.

So it’s time to fall in love with our work to get good from our work.

Share your opinion about waiter behavior and your lessons if you ever face these types of people?
